International Drive
Known to locals as I-Drive, this stretch is packed with restaurants, mini golf, and attractions — including the ICON Park observation wheel towering over it all.

Kennedy Space Center
An hour east of Orlando lies one of the most awe-inspiring destinations on Earth. Explore towering rockets, walk through space shuttle history, and — if the timing is right — witness a live launch light up the Florida sky.

Just an hour from Orlando, Kennedy Space Center is a must-see day trip. Walk beneath actual rockets, explore the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, meet a real astronaut, and — if you’re lucky — watch a live launch paint the sky.
Planning Your Visit
Kennedy Space Center is about 60 miles east of Orlando — roughly an hour’s drive. Plan to spend a full day; there’s more to see than you’d expect. Book tickets in advance online to skip the lines and check the launch schedule at your hotel — a launch sighting is something you’ll never forget.
